Frequently Asked Questions Q. How long will it take to get my dog groomed? A. Usually it will take 1-2 hours. Grooming times will vary based on breed, coat condition, length of hair and temperament of the pet. Q. My schedule is hectic, how do you work around it? A. I prefer that the client is home for the first visit to discuss the pet. A pre grooming consultation will let your pet and I get aquainted and any concerns at this time will be discussed. After the initial grooming, if you and the pet are satisfied, you are not required to be home. Many clients leave access to the pet for future grooming. You will come home to a professionally groomed pet without the hassle and inconvenience of drop off and pick up at a shop. Q. What are your rates? A. Rates for grooming vary greatly depending on breed, size, condition of coat, difficulty of style and temperament of pet. Any pet that needs dematting will incur a dematt charge. Typically rates for a mobile grooming service are $15-$20 higher than a shop. Please call for rates on your specific pet. Prices quoted are for pets on a maintenance schedule, every 4, 6, or 8 weeks.
